To execute these actions, your veNFT needs to meet specific prerequisites:
All bribes, Trading fees, and the rebase associated with the veNFT must be claimed beforehand in order to perform this action.
To proceed, your "Voting Action" must still be available during the current epoch.
Only the top NFT on the Merge Page needs to undergo a reset.
Votes can be cast once per epoch at the user level. At the contract level, the act of voting, represented by pressing the CAST VOTES button, is considered a "Voting Action." Additionally, resetting votes is also counted as one. If users merge their NFTs correctly, they won't lose their "Voting Action" for that epoch.
Simply choose two veNFTs to merge from the dropdown menus. The first one you select will be merged into the second one.
Subsequently, you will be presented with the following data pertaining to the merged veNFT:
VIRI balance: total VIRI locked in the merged veNFT.
veVIRI balance: total voting power in the merged veNFT.
Locking Period Ends on: the longest period between the 2 veNFT selected to merge will be assigned to the merged veNFT.
How To Merge veNFTs Without Losing Voting Action?
Click on Dashboard -> Locks and choose your NFT's you want to merge.
Reset the only one you want to Destroy.
After Reset your NFT you will see Reset on the ID + Status.
Then click on Merge on the top of the page.
Select the veNFTs to be merged. The order matters. The new veNFT must be the bottom one.
After the merge, the top veNFT goes into the bottom one and will be destroyed.
Now browse to the Pools -> Vote Page and using your votes from your merged veVIRI.
What if I reset the wrong NFT or reset both NFT for merging?
Click on Dashboard -> Locks -> 'get veVIRI' after both scenarios may occur.
To create a new veVIRI, follow these steps:
Enter the amount of VIRI.
Select "1 Year".
Click on "Create New veVIRI".
Then click on 'Merge' on the top of the page.
Select the veNFTs to be merged. The order matters. The new veNFT must be the bottom one.
After the merge, the top veNFT goes into the bottom one and will be destroyed.
Now browse to the Pools -> Vote Page and using your votes from your merged veVIRI.
